The Ebola Virus epidemic that broke out in 2013-2014 in West Africa caused more than 5000 deaths with more than 3 times suspected cases. World Health Organization (WHO) and other health regulatory bodies already declared the condition as alarming as the disease is spreading in other continents as well causing a grave public health threats. The viral disease is lethal and if not attended quickly with appropriate health measures can be life threatening.

  • The first deadly outbreak of this viral disease has been reported first from Central Africa and then it spread to most of West Africa. The recent epidemic took lives both in urban as well as rural areas of West and Central Africa.
